A Charmed Affair is Respite Retreats’ signature Girls’ Day Out, a joyful, laughter filled afternoon designed to bring women together for fun, friendship, and a meaningful cause.
Guests begin the day by checking in at Xenia and receiving their magical scroll, a curated list of creative photo and video challenges happening around town. Each challenge has a point value, and teams venture out to complete as many as they can. Think playful, festive, a little competitive, and completely unforgettable.
From princess poses to holiday inspired moments, every snapshot captures joy and every point brings teams closer to winning a special prize.
After the adventure, everyone returns to Xenia to celebrate together with a delicious luncheon, raffles and fun contests, a silent auction, networking and new friendships, and lots of laughter and sparkle.
It is more than an event. It is an experience.
While the day is lighthearted and whimsical, the purpose is deeply meaningful. Proceeds from A Charmed Affair support the mission of Respite Retreats, providing uplifting, restorative respite programs for individuals and families navigating cancer.
New this year, we are adding a festive Christmas in July theme, bringing a little holiday sparkle to the sunshine. Expect merry moments, playful challenges, and just the right touch of seasonal magic in the middle of summer.
Also new this year is an exciting opportunity to make an even bigger impact. Guests can fundraise to earn free tickets and qualify for a chance to win an incredible Team Overnight complete with spa treatments. Rally your friends, share the mission, raise support for Respite Retreats, and you could be celebrating together long after the tiaras come off.

The Photo Quest
Teams of 4 will be given a list of photo fun activities to complete. Each item on the list is assigned points. Teams may pick and choose which activities they would like to complete with the goal of collecting the most points. The team who returns with the most points wins!
The fun continues with lunch, beer, wine, champagne & specialty drinks plus entertainment, costume contests, a silent auction and door prizes.

Invite your supporters to donate by sending personalized texts or emails, or by sharing your fundraising link on social media.
Raise a minimum of $2,500 as a team and enjoy FREE tickets to A Charmed Affair—plus your team will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a BIG PRIZE
Fundraising deadline: June 30, 2026.
If your team raises less than $2,500, tickets will still need to be purchased—but every dollar raised makes a difference and directly supports our mission.
